ackee.ack
ackee 1# The marketing site, served from the cloud's static hosting.project "shop" {cloud = "aws"region = "us-east-1"}site "www" {}
Fields
None. The name is all that means the same thing on every cloud; write site "name" {}.
Any other field is refused (AK204), and the error names the exact type to declare with node for the setting you wanted.
What it becomes
| Cloud | Becomes |
|---|---|
| AWS | A private S3 bucket behind a CloudFront distribution. |
| Google Cloud | No portable form: a Google Cloud static site is served through a load balancer whose certificate needs a domain. Declare node "www" type "gcp/static-site@1" and connect it to a gcp/domain@1 node with connect traffic. |
| Azure | An Azure Static Web App, free tier. |
Joins the shared network net: Azure only.
Notes
- Index and error pages, price classes and tiers are each cloud's own, so they are
nodefields: declare the site with its cloud's type to set them.
